Our virtual journey began as we arrived in Interlaken, a town that is nestled between two lakes and surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Interlaken is known for its adventurous activities, and paragliding is one of the most popular things to do here. We were super excited to experience the thrill of paragliding and to see Interlaken from a different perspective.

 

We booked our paragliding experience with Paragliding Interlaken from the app ‘Get Your Guide’ that had excellent reviews online. On the day of our flight, we met our instructors in the local office next to the field located in the centre of Interlaken. The team were super professional and ensured that we were well-informed about the experience and the safety measures that needed to be followed. They also provided all the necessary equipment including a harness and a helmet.

 

After a brief bus ride, we reached the take-off point, which was a steep hill overlooking the beautiful Swiss countryside. As we were harnessed up and our instructor gave us a quick rundown of what to expect, we couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nerves. Not to mention, the scenery was breathtaking, and we couldn't wait to soar through the air and take it all in.

 

As we took off, the sensation was unlike anything we had ever experienced. The wind rushed through our hair and the views of the surrounding mountains and lakes were simply breathtaking. Our instructor expertly navigated the paraglider through the air, making sure we stayed safe while still providing a thrilling experience.

 

During the flight, we also had the opportunity to take control of the paraglider ourselves, with the guidance of our instructor of course. It was an amazing feeling to be in control and to feel the wind in my face as we soared through the air.

The flight lasted for about 20-25 minutes, but it felt like it went by too quickly. As we landed back on the ground, I couldn't help but feel exhilarated and grateful for the unforgettable experience.

The combination of stunning scenery, adrenaline-pumping thrills, and expert guidance made it an unforgettable experience that we will never forget.
