Baking is not just about creating delicious pastries but also about enjoying the process of making something yummy from scratch. That's why we decided to try out baking together at the co-baking studio, BakeBe MY @ Publika KL, that teaches us to bake through an app.

 

To secure our spot in the class, we made an online reservation on their official website. We opted for the Lemon & Yuzu Flavoured Cake, which had a difficulty rating of 4/5, and the entire session was estimated to take around 3 hours. The cost for a couple per project was RM250 plus an additional RM60.

 

Upon arrival at the studio, we were warmly greeted by professional bakers who provided us with an iPad containing the baking tutorial. They also gave us a tour of the facility.

 

The baking studio was well-equipped with a wide range of tools and equipment, including mixers, ovens, measuring instruments, baking pans, decorating tools, and a comprehensive selection of cake decorating toppings.

 

The studio also had a relaxing cafeteria area where we could unwind while waiting for the dough to bake in the oven and the cake to cool before decorating.

Although everything else was delightful, the only downside from the experience was that the cake unfortunately lacked the desired flavour.

 

Our first foray into baking was an experience in discovering the pleasure of the activity. We left the studio feeling elated and would highly recommend it to couples, friends, families, or anyone who wishes to experience the joy of baking.
